The Information and Media Technology (IMT) is a research and development initiative that aims to improve the productivity of Indian farmers through the use of information and communication technologies. The project, which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implemented by the National Program on Micro-nutrient Technology (NPMT), a joint project of the Government of India and the IMT Foundation.
The project is designed to assist Indian farmers in improving their crop yield and quality by making use of information and communication technologies.
The project aims to build a scalable and sustainable solution to the problem of farmers not being able to access accurate, timely, and reliable information regarding crop nutrition.
